Celebrate contemporary and historic farm life with the whole family at Riverside on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 10 am to 3 pm. Featured activities include:  farm animal petting zoo, barrel train rides, 4-H Fair, 4-H Youth Dairy Goat Show, horse-drawn wagon rides, “Bluegrass Bessie” the Milking Cow Demo, Cooking Demonstrations with the Thorobred Nutrition Trailer, Kentucky Proud Recipe Tastings, Jefferson Memorial Forest’s ECHO Mobile, Forage Crop Demos, rain barrel workshops, speakers and demos on a variety of related topics. Riverside’s archaeological dig site will be open. Bluegrass Music by “Hog Operation” from Noon to 2 PM. Food vendors: LaRue County Pork Producers and Ehrler’s Ice Cream.
